Five, five, five...

A new milestone has been reached... Kohl is now 5 months old. I know I say this each month, but I just can't believe it. Where has the time gone?

He's got this great bubbly personality. He smiles at everyone, even complete strangers especially the ladies. The biggest thing recently is that he's rolling around like a tumble weed in the wind. Every night I put him in his crib in the same spot and position,  and by morning he's in the opposite position on the other end of the crib.
Same goes for his play gyms... I lay him down so that the play bar hangs right over his face, but minutes later he'll be strattling the bar. On top of that He's beginning to sit up with support. He really loves to sit up, and be able to see everything around him.

Kohl loves to talk, and has gotten very good at cooing. What I enjoy the most  though is his laugh. Every time he laughs it tickles me, and I laugh with him. One night Tim, Kohl, and I were all just laughing after one another. It was so funny. Went on for a good 10 minutes.
He keeps growing so fast it sort of saddens me to have to box up the smaller clothes, but on the plus side he's growing.

Kohl is growing into the cutest,  funniest, and smart little boy.
The things I'm looking forward to are Kohl crawling,  sitting up on his own, feeding himself, and his first word(s).

Texas, here we come!

I know, it sort of shocked me too. Texas, what could possibly make me want to move to Texas?
On Friday, July 26th Tim was offered a fantastic job in Irving, Texas with Citigroup, and after a lot of deliberation he accepted the offer. It is a really great opportunity for him, since he is looking for the best way to provide for his family.
I am so grateful to Tim for working so hard, and diligently to provide the best, and I want to repay him by supporting him in what he wants to do.
This is certainly going to be hard as we move away from our families and friends, but we also know that it will be an adventure that we will get to experience together. I feel that this will only help us grow as a family.
I have had to rely a lot on the Lord for comfort, and strength as this is very stressful for the both of us and the blessings are endless. Our family are very supportive, and have been helping us in any way they can.
Tim and I are flying out to the Dallas/Fortworth area on the 15th to check out the neighborhoods, get things started in looking for a permanent home, and getting Tim settled to begin work on Monday, August 19th.
I will come back to Utah the 18th to finish packing, and prepping the house for sale. Tim and I will have to spend sometime apart, but I think it'll only strengthen our love for each other. "The heart grows fonder when they are apart." as they say.
Hopefully, Tim will fly back at the end of August, and we'll drive with the baby and two dogs to Texas for the final haul.

I'm really looking forward to this new experience. I have only ever known Utah, since I was born and raised here. I did vacation in Austin, TX a couple of years ago, but I'm excited to learn, and experience Texas!
