The Great Return

It's Friday December 3rd 2010. We're gathered in the airport awaiting to great return of two extraordinary missionaries. It had been 18 months since we bid them farewell and good luck, and now we celebrate together as one big family for the safe return home from Milan, Italy. It was such a joyful moment when I first saw Marian and Neil walking down the pathway towards the baggage claim area. It was hard to keep the tears of joy from falling down my cheeks, as I cried so did Jenny, and Julie. Immediately Marian and Neil began hugging everyone, and laughing, and crying. It was a moment that no one would ever forget.
Tim and I had the great advantage of driving the tired missionaries home, and got to talk about everything on the way home to Ogden.
The best moment of all was the great surprise we had for Neil at home down in the basement... Tim with helpful suggestions from the family has Neil's old pool table refinished and assembled. The story of the pool table is that it had been sitting in the garage for the past 12 years.
When Neil walked into the room, and was stunned. He for a spilt moment couldn't get the words to come out of his mouth, but when he did he said "This is the best surpise."
The whole day was just one of those moments that will always be cherished!

Well there's lots of drinking bottled water, and it is quite an adjustment if you choose to leave in Europe. The apartments are very pricey for very limited space. However it's always worth a vacation... Right?
